Hello burlesque fans!

BEST OF BURLESQUERCISE SERIES
Happy Birthday Burlesquercise! In March 2008 we will be celebrating the 4 Year Anniversary of the Burlesquercise dance classes by offering a special crash course in burlesque! That's right, this series will include a diverse sampling of the best lessons and activities from the last four years (and running) of classes, including bump-and-grind basics, chair dancing, song interpretation, prop use, stage persona and character development (do you want to be a femme fatale or a bubblegum cutie?), striptease techniques, sassy choreography and much more!
In this series we will re-introduce the choreography for Miss Adelaide's "Take Back Your Mink" number from the classic movie "Guys and Dolls" - this is a Burlesqueteer favorite that we will be performing in 2008, so don't miss the opportunity to learn this routine! We'll also focus on skit building for solo, duet, and group numbers, and the class will be guided by Bombshell Betty while creating group choreography for future performances. BURLESQUE GROUP CHOREOGRAPHY SERIES
In this special burlesque choreography session, we will be focusing entirely on the choreography for some of the favorite Burlesquercise numbers from the last 4 years of classes! Get caught up and ready to perform the steps for "Put a Lid on It" (our charleston number) and both the exotica and surf versions of "Miserlou" which we performed at the Tease-o-rama Burlesue Convention and we will be applying to perform at the Miss Exotic World competition. That's a lot of dancing!
All students who learn the Burlesquercise choreography are invited to perform with the Burlesqueteers, so come join the fun!
