Hey there, Little Red Riding Hood...

So tonight was the last Oakland class in this session, and it was so much fun! While giving the students directions for an activity which involved putting on our chosen character while running through some tricky choreography, one of the girls challenged me to practice what I was preaching and show them how it's done. So, I decided to use my Red Riding Hood character in conjunction with the Cyd and Gene number from "Singing in the Rain" ... and it was hilarious! Sweetcheeks and I are definitely going to use that for a show in the near future!

Tuesday 6/21, I'll be art modeling for a drawing group in San Francisco. 2-4pm at Casanova ... grab your drawing materials and join us!

Last night at the Darkroom Theater

I performed last night with Angie Krass at the Darkroom Theater. Damn, I love that place! It was a great night and a fun crowd. Angie took a session of Burlesquercise a while ago, and she started her standup routine by demonstrating a very acrobatic back roll in a folding chair that she said she learned in class. I have to point out that I did *not* teach her that, and I claim no responsibility for any injuries she should incur that way.

We're doing the show again next Wednesday, June 22, except this time Sweet Cheeks will be joining me to do our famous Chair Race number. We'll be filming the show for footage to use to apply for Tease-o-rama. Woo!
